I haven't used either of my extenders that much on the 7D as I am much happier in most cases with just the prime lens attached, but that being said I was photographing gobblers at long range last spring and tried the 2x. I used the live view mode and found that I got some of my best 2x extender photos ever. I think that if one has to use manual focus that using live view and going in to the 10X setting gives one a better chance of getting sharp photos than using the eye-level finder.Willardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17059945499957721902noreply@blogger.com
